Dinner at Tom Aikens Michelin Star Restaurant – Save 50% by Keynoir

Tom Aikens is undisputedly one of Britain’s most exciting chefs. Although he has been cooking since the age of 16, it was when he launched his own eponymous restaurant in London’s swinging Chelsea in 2003 that he truly sealed his culinary reputation (his second, Tom’s Kitchen, followed in 2006). Aikens lives in London with his wife Amber and has published two best selling cookbooks.

Book a table for dinner at Tom Aikens for as many friends as you want. Whether you choose from Tom’s Classic Menu, plump for A La Carte, or settle in for for the famous Tasting Menu: all dishes are guaranteed to feature outstanding seasonal ingredients cooked and presented to perfection.

Start off with something scintillating like Grapefruit marinated Loch Duart Salmon with vanilla dressing, or choose something a bit heartier like a portion of pan-fried Foie Gras with caramelised endive and orange. For mains, meanwhile, there’s red mullet with pistachio risotto; smoked ribeye of beef with Guinness braised shin; or roasted partridge with truffle mash. The Chocolate Dacquoise, with milk ice cream and chocolate pops makes for a sublime dessert (N.B. Once you pop you can’t stop: you have been warned).

Tom Aikens offers a wide selection of white, red and dessert wines from regions all over the world – Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, and Hungarian Tokaij to name a few. Have a look at the full wine list (pdf). We’d definitely recommend the 2001 Château Brane-Cantenac 2ème Cru Classé or the 2006 Chardonnay Melville Estate (if you fancy a superb white wine instead). Both are great value and complement the food selection nicely.

Not only will you get to sample a vast range of amazing cheeses from around the world, but the general manager will actually take you through the origins of each cheese and share some fun facts with you. A world famous board brought to you from their supplier La Cave Fromage.
